Using Flash

Every shoot that I have ever done I have never once used a flash besides for a few weddings I have done, but was because they were inside. After our class/workshop with Brian I have found a new love for flash. I have spent the last few weeks reading about flash and adding items to my wish list on amazon and so much. At my last shoot it was my first time using flash I was able to use it for a few pictures before my umbrella broke :( I hope to learn more about I just bought a few books on flash and excited to start reading them. Here is one of the images from that shoot

I still need some work with it, and cannot wait to get all my gels and new umbrella and soft boxes!

3 Month Old

From a recent shoot I did this past weekend for a 3 month old. This is one of my favorites from the shoot as the eyes really pop and feel like they are real.

The Lost Thing

   Basically with the quote that Min Kim had posted goes perfect with the animation as I interpret it as liking someone or such as befriending someone no matter their differences. Which I feel is a major part of life because everyone is different in there own ways. As today many people feel the need to judge someone by the way the look for instance or how they act and such. This short animation reminded me of the movie Wall-E. For the simple fact that Eve who looks totally different than Wall-E decides to befriend him. Which is kinda seen in the short animation as well to the fact that he becomes friends with the Lost Thing and brings it home. To where today in life most people would not except it and want nothing to do to it. This short animation is a great idea for children to realize no matter what someone looks like or how different they are they are still wonderful and to befriend those people that others push away because of their differences.

    I love perspective photographs and I used these as ideas for a few of the portraits I have taken for the shooting assignment!
